I just came from the lunch buffet, which cost $8 and was, well, sufficient but by no means spectacular. The nan was cold and rubbery, and most of the dishes were so-so. (I should mention, however, that the dal was the best I've had in a long time.) The service was pretty bad, but the `waiter` looked so young I couldn't help but leave him a buck, so the whole thing cost me almost $10 with tax. Meanwhile, I could have gone to Minar Palace a few blocks away and gotten the lunch combo of three vegetarian selections and a bowl of rice for five bucks. I wish I had.
